Van Life Adventure Photography Session in Page, Arizona

Traci & Bill are good friends of mine who are also elopement photographers. In this line of work, we honestly live a kind of weird life. Lots of travel, having conversations about things like permits & location scouting, spending a good amount of time on the road, getting up way before the crack of dawn for sunrises, & staying out late for sunsets & stars. It can also be a bit of a lonely life (which is why I love all my pets!) & it’s just nice to talk with people who can relate to the unique struggles a small business owner of a photography business goes through. With no coworkers, long days in front of the computer, location scouting remote areas, sometimes the people we see or talk to the most are our clients. So it’s great to have coworkers like this!

Traci & Bill were selling their van that they had custom built & lived in for the past few years & wanted some photos for all the memories they had in this van. Of course Tucker their dog & Indy the desert cat had to be in some photos too. We spent a couple days adventuring around Page, exploring a canyon, hiking down to the Colorado River, exploring some slot canyons, pack rafting on Lake Powell, taking photos in their van, & rappelling down a fun canyoneering route.

Page is one of my favorite places in Arizona to photograph & just explore. I feel it is such an underrated place for elopements, photography sessions, & even just for vacations. It is remote & a little out there, but with all the unique places to see, it’s worth it to get out to Page. With Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, & Horseshoe Bend all close by, there’s a lot to do & see. But these popular locations are just a little taste of what Page, Arizona has to offer. There are so many hidden gems & places to see that are less popular with all sorts of natural beauty.
