Daytona is famous for its wide open beaches & hard packed sands. You may have also heard of Daytona because of the Daytona 500, an annual race at the Daytona International Speedway.
It was warm, humid, & very foggy for this sunrise engagement session on Daytona Beach near Orlando, Florida. Fog is really hard to shoot in but it can also be a really fun, creative challenge & produces some unique photos! Karla & Victor spent the morning with me having fun. They were twirling on docks, running on the beach, & hopping over waves in the ocean. They later got married in Florida at Ever After Peach Barn.
Did you know that the sand dunes along tropical beaches are a very crucial part of the environment? These sand dunes provide homes for sea birds, nesting grounds for turtles, & habitat for various other coastal plants & animals. It is very important to stay off the dunes when you are at the beach. Do your part to leave no trace & preserve these areas. These dunes are also important in helping to prevent damages from storm surges, floods, & hurricanes, not to mention you can be fined for going on the dunes.
