Give Me All The Color!

In my more recent work, I have been been leaning towards a little more colorful, alternative style. Not all photos have to be perfect. But all photos have to have a good feeling, thought, emotion, or intention behind them. And by adding color to my photos, along with laughs, smiles, fun times, & unposed moments, I can create images that are full of joy. I love to photograph happiness, whether that happiness is shown through laughter at one of my awkward jokes or tears from seeing each other for the first time on your wedding day. Brighter images along with a little added color make for some of the happiest photos.

Life is hard. I get depression & know many others who cope with it too. Creating images like these is inspiring for me. I think my depression has influenced my style & how I create. It’s hard to put everything into words, but basically I want others to feel good about themselves & have happy photos, no matter what they are going through in life. I’ve been inspired by other photographers like Ashley Crawford & even other artists, like the painter, Alix Baptiste. They inspire me in different ways & for different reasons. I love how Ashley pushes the limits of film photography & her use of color is amazing! Meghan makes weddings & sessions so fun & isn’t overly concerned with everything being perfect. And I love the way that Alix sees the good things from a hard life & shows it through his paintings.

If this style of photos sounds like something you want, I would love to talk with you to see if we are a good fit! I’m down for just about anything & always love photographing something new & different!

All the below photos are shot on a variety of different film stocks.
