Mount Hood Engagement Photos with a Breathtaking Sunset

For these Mount Hood engagement photos in Oregon, I scouted a short trail with epic views of Mount Hood for Zac & Tyler, & it was the perfect spot. With only a short, easy hike that paid off with an impressive view of Mount Hood, it was a little adventurous without being too much. The drive out here did require a bit of light off-roading down some bumpy forest service roads. The hike took us through a sun-dappled forest to a sunset that lit up the mountain in a stunning alpenglow. We even wrapped things up with a few intimate engagement photos. Mount Hood Engagement Photos at Sunset

As we reached the trail’s end, the views of Mount Hood were pretty spectacular! I always love when I come around a corner on a hike & then am rewarded with a big, impressive mountain in front of me. The mostly clear skies gave way to a stunning PNW sunset that painted the mountain in a soft alpenglow. Zac & Tyler were completely at ease, sharing sweet, joyful moments against Mount Hood’s incredible natural backdrop in Oregon. The short hike paid off with these rewarding views.

Romantic Photos to End the Evening

As the sun dipped below the horizon & Mount Hood stood in the background, we lingered for a few final, intimate moments during blue hour. The soft lighting at blue hour gave these photos a more quiet, romantic feel. To finish the session, we took some photos in front of the truck headlights. It was the perfect way to wrap up the evening—combining their “adventure-ish” side, all while celebrating the love that makes these two’s relationship special.
