Outdoor Colorado Wedding at the Pines at Genesee

If you’re not going to elope, I would say that a small wedding is the next best thing! Jon & Madeline invited their closest friends to their wedding near Denver in Golden, Colorado at the Pines at Genesee. And of course they had to include Japhy! Colorado is an amazing place for a small outdoor wedding. Did you know that Colorado is one of the sunniest states & that on average, we get about 300 days of sun every year? That means that the weather is very likely to be great for an outdoor wedding in the mountains of Colorado. Even if the weather isn’t looking great, we have a saying here in the mountains “wait 5 minutes & it’ll change”. I know they say that everywhere. But in places like the Midwest, when a storm comes through, it is there to stay. When a storm comes through the mountains, it moves on by very quickly. So you can usually just shift your timeline around a little & still have an outdoor wedding in Colorado.
