Palisade, Colorado Engagement Session with Peaches, Lavender, & Mount Garfield
JD & Caroline met playing soccer. JD actually proposed to Caroline on Color Sunday last September in Colorado. They contacted me interested in an adventure elopement in Colorado. Both of them are outdoor, nature loving people. They love to camp, hike, & visit the national parks. With big families sometimes a wedding can be overwhelming when there are so many people. But with an intimate elopement ceremony, you can keep it simple. And, you can have an elopement reception of sorts afterwards in a very fun & informal setting.
For their engagement session, JD & Caroline wanted orchards & lavender fields in Palisade, Colorado. Then we also hit up Mount Garfield for a little adventure! Z’s Orchard in Palisade was the perfect peach orchard for their engagements. And the owners at Two Bears Farm & More were so nice in letting us come there for a bit & even gave us some lavender & essential oils & talked to us about the different types of lavender. We hiked a ways up Mount Garfield right at sunset, into blue hour & were rewarded with some amazing views of the Grand Valley around Palisade & Grand Junction.
