Zion National Park Anniversary Photo Session
I always love reconnecting with clients & it’s not something I get to do often as a wedding photographer! I photographed Lucas & Laura for their vow renewal in Rocky Mountain National Park. Every year they like to travel somewhere for their anniversary & get photos done in a new location. This time they headed someplace warmer– Zion National Park!
Golden hour in the desert is beautiful, but I almost love blue hour even more. Blue hour is just after sunset & even sunset or sunrise in the desert, like in Zion National Park, can produce some harsh lighting. But at blue hour, the colors of the desert are all sorts of pastel & the lighting is perfect, especially at beautiful canyon overlooks like this place in Zion! If you’re planning a photography session in Zion, it’s really important to take note of where the shuttles run & keep in mind there are some very popular locations throughout the park. But if you know to plan for the right area at the right time, you can get some amazing photos in the national park!
