Sunset Arches National Park Elopement
When Kristen & Patrick were planning their road trip throughout the western United States to tour some national parks, they decided to elope together in a new place. Whether you choose a new place to elope or you want to elope in a place that is already special to you both is a decision a lot of couples face when deciding on how to elope. What Patrick & Kristen chose (and what a lot of couple choose) is to pick a new location to elope, which then becomes a new very special place for both of you. Arches National Park is full of natural arches & a lot of people love the symbolism they find here. The natural arches also remind some of the decorate wedding arches you’ll sometimes see at weddings.
First Look at Sand Dune Arch
We were able to keep Patrick & Kristen separated before their first look with each other that took place in the little canyon where you can also find Sand Dune Arch. Patrick definitely started feeling some emotions as he saw Kristen all dressed up & looking great. It’s always such a special thing to be able to be one of the only people to be in person for couples like this & photograph these moments for them.
Sunset at the Windows Section
After exploring the little canyon & around Sand Dune Arch, we went to the Windows Section to Double Arch for their elopement ceremony in the park. We took some more photos around North Window & Turret Arch. Then they had a beautiful end to the day with a first dance by the light of a lantern. They made their day special in little ways like this & choosing a song to dance to in a new special place.
