Choosing Your Wedding Venue in Washington State

Finding venue options and looking for the best one can be the trickiest part of wedding planning. Pacific Northwest wedding venues are some of the most beautiful and romantic venues you’ll find in your search. For you to choose the best one, you’ll need to take into account your budget, the number of guests, and the kind of wedding you want. It’s easy to fall into a rabbit hole of finding the one venue that could make or break your wedding, but keep in mind that your wedding day is about you and your beloved.

Common Questions About Washington Venues

The best months to get married in Washington & the Pacific Northwest are typically June through September. During these months, the region experiences the most stable and dry weather, providing an ideal setting for outdoor weddings. Fall weddings in October can also be beautiful with vibrant foliage, though the weather can be less predictable.

When choosing a wedding venue in Washington, consider factors like weather, venue accessibility, guest capacity, and available amenities. Ensure the venue offers indoor and outdoor options due to the region’s unpredictable weather. Scenic views, such as mountain or waterfront locations, are also a popular choice.

Some unique wedding venues in Washington include treehouse venues, beachfront properties, historic estates, and vineyards. Examples include TreeHouse Point in Washington, Cannon Beach in Oregon, and the historic Crag Rats Hut in Hood River, which offers stunning views of Mount Hood.

It is recommended to book your wedding venue in Washington 12 to 18 months in advance. This is especially important for popular venues and dates during peak wedding season (June to September), as these tend to book up quickly.
